After two Californians won a share of the $395 million Mega Millions jackpot on Friday, the pot refreshed and players now tried for a $20 million jackpot in Tuesday night's draw.
The numbers were drawn at 11 p.m. ET and you can find the results here.
The value of the cash option for the new pot was $9.5 million.
If the lucky person is in one of 17 states where winners can collect Mega Millions prizes anonymously, we may never know who they are.

The winning numbers for Friday night's drawing were 8, 23, 44, 45 and 53. The Megaball was 3 and the Megaplier was 4X.

- August 15, 2023 - $39 million ($18.9 million cash) won in Florida with a ticket purchased at Publix in Jacksonville.
- August 8, 2023 - $1.602 billion ($794.2 million cash) won in Florida with a ticket purchased at Publix in Neptune Beach.
- April 18, 2023 - $20 million ($10.5 million cash) won by Shadowknight LLC of Syracuse, N.Y.
- April 14, 2023 - $483 million ($256.9 million cash) won by Johnnie Taylor of Queens, N.Y.
- January 31, 2023 - $31 million ($16.5 million cash) won by S & L Trust of Waltham, Mass.
- January 24, 2023 - $33 million ($17.4 million cash) won by Skylark Group Trust of Wellesley, Mass.
- January 17, 2023 - $20 million ($10.6 million cash) won by Jerson Garcia of the Bronx, N.Y.
- January 13, 2023 - $1.348 billion ($723.5 million cash) won by LaKoma Island Investments, LLC, with a ticket purchased in Lebanon, Maine.

The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are long. Players have a one in 302,575,350 shot at winning the grand prize, a one in 12,607,306 shot at winning the $1 million prize and a one in 24 chance of winning any prize.
