The Hopkinsville Police Department in Kentucky officially swore in Bolo, a pit bull mix rescue dog, as its "very first Paw-trol Officer."
Bolo came to the department in October as part of its "paw-trol program," which partners with the Christian County Animal Shelter to bring shelter dogs to the police department for one-day visits. However, Bolo quickly stole the hearts of staff, and they decided to adopt him.

At his swearing-in ceremony, Bolo sealed the deal with a paw print signature on the oath.
