John Mulaney is opening up about marrying actress Olivia Munn.
The comedian appeared on "Late Night With Seth Meyers" on Monday night and brought details about his marriage to "The Newsroom" actress, telling the late-night talk show host he "got married, thanks a lot, it's the best."
Munn's mom, Kim Schmid, was in the audience for the show, and Mulaney quipped, "Hi, Mom," telling Meyers, "I call her mom now."
"I've been in a lot of interesting situations. Marrying into a large Vietnamese family is one of the most fun things I've ever done," he joked, with his classic dry humor before telling Meyers, "But they're the best, man." He added that marrying Munn was "the single greatest time in my life."

Mulaney and Munn tied the knot last month in a pared-back ceremony at a family friend's home in New York state. Their 2½-year-old son Malcolm and a witness were the only wedding guests, and Munn's "The Newsroom" co-star Sam Waterston officiated.
During an interview in April for "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman," Mulaney told the late-night legend that he really felt complete after he and Munn welcomed Malcolm on Nov. 24, 2021.
“I was starstruck when I met him,” the former “SNL” writer told Letterman. “I went, ‘Oh, there you are. You’re that thing I couldn’t find.’ I was looking in not good places.”

Mulaney described Munn’s pregnancy as “a big surprise” to both. “We were really (like), ‘Huh,’ ” he said, getting laughs from the crowd. He says the sense of safety he felt from knowing how much his parents cared about each other is something he and Munn try to replicate. “So Olivia and I try to show Malcolm how much we love each other.”
It's been a year of ups and downs for Munn and Mulaney. The actress revealed in March that she had been privately battling breast cancer and underwent four surgeries, including a double mastectomy.
In an Instagram post at the time, the actress thanked Mulaney for "the nights he spent researching what every operation and medication meant and what side effects and recovery I could expect."
