We can't stay quiet over this adorable moment.
John Krasinski recently gushed over wife Emily Blunt's support as he finished filming the fourth and Herofinal season of Jack Ryan. And although she's previously described him as an "everyman hero at home," he insisted that title belongs with her.
"Maybe an everyman, but I don't know about hero," the 43-year-old said on the June 22 episode of E! News. "I think she's the hero at home for sure."
He added, "Her support through this show is what's made it possible for me. Not only in the logistics of having to travel the world constantly, and being supportive, and making sure my kids didn't abandon me when I had to go to these countries and shoot."
The A Quiet Place director, who also acted alongside his wife in the franchise's first film, said that when it comes to filming action movies, he takes his cues from her.
"I also take such inspiration from her, in everything," John continued, "but she's also done this action stuff way better than I have. So I go back and I watch Edge of Tomorrow and Jungle Cruise and get more ideas."
But when it comes to the couple's daughters—Hazel, 9, and Violet, 7—the two apparently struggle with imagining their parents as the movie stars they are.
In fact, John jokes they didn't even know he was an actor for a long time. "I think for a while they weren't sure what I did, because they're not allowed to see Quiet Place or Jack Ryan," The Office alum explained. "So I think they thought I was an accountant."
It wasn't until a family friend's child saw an explosive poster for Jack Ryan and asked why "Uncle John was on fire" that his daughters were clued into their father's day job.
"I think that was the first introduction to my kids that I wasn't an accountant," he added with a smile, "and that I was some sort of fire fighter."
And while Emily has previously told E! News in November 2022 that their children have seen Mary Poppins and Jungle Cruise, she recently explained that when it comes to things like seeing their mom on a billboard, Hazel and Violet don't care all that much.
"They might say, oh, there's Mama, but it's not exciting for them," she told Harper's Bazaar in a June 7 interview. "What's exciting for them is when I can pick them up from school and take them swimming."
And don't miss Jack Ryan's fourth and final season which drops June 30 on Prime Video.
